SI GROUP INTRODUCTION

BARA's aim is to promote the use of automation and robotics in UK industry. The System Integrator SIG focus is to assist users or potential users in the successful application of technology.

GROUP AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

• To encourage and promote the beneficial usage of automation in the UK where appropriate (not all applications/users may benefit).

• To provide information and advice (available from participating SIG members) on all aspects of automation system selection and application, including feasiblity, risk assement, safety, programming, maintenance and training.

• To promote communication between end-users, systems integrators and suppliers to facilitate the adoption of automation and robotic technology.
